As a spin-off of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Probiomics offers direct access to advanced technologies and solutions born from academic research, translating scientific expertise into concrete applications.
Probiomics has been selected as a winner of the Lazio Innova “PRE-SEED Plus” grant under the PR FESR 2021–2027 programme, for the development of the “Re-Clinic” project, designed to offer pharmaceutical companies, IRCCS and research centres advanced omics analysis services compliant with GCLP standards.
The project integrates Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) technology into a structured operational workflow, enabling the generation of highly reliable, reproducible data compliant with international regulations. The platform enables high-sensitivity multiplex proteomic analyses, with minimal sample consumption and significantly lower cost per marker compared to traditional technologies.
Probiomics received a special mention at the Italian Master Startup Award 2025 (IMSA), a national competition recognising Italy’s best high-impact scientific and technological startups.
